The inspiration for the quilt came from a motif I saw on a beautiful cashmere cape. Then it became about so much more when my son’s best friend was diagnosed with the “C” word. I knew I wanted to give him something to provide physical comfort and wrap him in my love. Hence, The Gunner Quilt was born. Quilts exceed being mere objects; they’re threads of love and resilience, weaving us together in comfort, offering hope, and sometimes becoming the fabric that binds us together in challenging times. Quilts hold a special place in my heart, much like Gunner does.
